Enclosed by the iconic balancing rocks and surrounded by a natural amphitheatre of massive boulders, Khayelitshe House got its name from the Ndebele words ‘Ekhaya’ and ‘Litshe’- Home in the Rocks.This is a home that is completely off-the-grid, one that inspires peacefulness and being at one with nature.
The environmentally friendly design blends in perfectly with the ancient and majestic landscape that surrounds the property. Fully serviced and consisting of 4 en-suite luxury bedrooms with incredible views from every window, the house inspires a feeling of remoteness that is hard to capture. The private land around Khayelitshe House covers over 1200 acres of breathtaking wilderness, making it a beautiful escape from the grind of daily life.
Khayelitshe House offers you the opportunity to explore the area and everything it has to offer, including guided walks and game drives. Here you will be accompanied by a knowledgeable private guide who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you. Matobo Hills has one of the last populations of wild white rhinos in the world. Booking PolicyKhayelitshe House is sold on a per villa basis and the rate is based on 8 guests sharing. 2 Additional guests can be booked at a rate of CHF 200 per person per night night.
FIT Cancellation Policy• A 20% non-refundable deposit must be made within 30 days from the date of placing the booking for confirmation, and the balance payment must be made on or before 60 days prior to the travel date.
• More than 60 days-no charge. 60 - 30 days: 50%. Less than 30 days: 100% cancellation fee.
• The above percentages are based on the total value of the individual reservation as booked.
• Bookings made within 60 days will be held provisionally for 48 hours. Full payment must be made within 48 hours.
• Authorised credit account holders will be required to send a confirmation within 30 days agreeing to be liable to a 20% non-refundable deposit, and the final voucher must be sent not later the 60 days prior to travel date.
