A feast for cats and dog lovers to tour lands ruled by Lion prides called Savuti and Water logged Okavango Delta terrains of Moremi Game Reserve where untamed paradise is redefined and Lions roam and patrol the lands.

Day 1 Arrival Maun
Day 1  Arrival Maun

Guests will be picked up by Kala safari, safari guide from a safari lodge in Maun or Maun International Airport. Guests will be picked in a 4x4 open game viewer followed by a safari game viewing safety briefing. A 3 hours drive or transfer to Moremi Game Reserve will start on a 99km dirt bumpy terrain. The drive will be slow and safe with plenty of game viewing stops along the way as wildlife is plenty on route to the game reserve. The Usual time of guests pickup is normally 8:30 am. The transfer will include a bush coffee stretch stop and picnic lunch. The morning transfer cover the first game drive of the tour through the many game viewing stops that occur along the way.

Guests will arrive in camp shortly after the picnic lunch to offload their luggage and to familiarize themselves with the camp during the day’s light and to have hot showers. Towards sunset guests will leave to enjoy the first Moremi Game Reserve sunset over sundowner toast. Around 18:15 pm guests will head back to camp to be treated with a three course bush dinner and close the day around the camp fire.

Day 2 -4 Moremi Game Reserve

Every day guests will be woken up by their safari guide around 05:30am or 06:00am (depending on the agreed time) to have a 30 minutes morning refresh time. Followed by 30 minutes of breakfast before leaving for the first morning game drive of the day around 06:00am or 07:00am.

Around 11:00/12:00 pm depending on the uncontrolled natural game viewing sightings, guests will be driven back to camp to relax, have lunch, take showers, download photos and to charge cameras before the evening game drive that will start around 15:00pm to 18:15pm.

Day 3 will see the guests exploring north east of the reserve in an afternoon boat ride to come closer to aquatic game.

Day 4 will be the last full day in Moremi Game Reserve to close the exploration of the lagoon filled wilderness.

Day 5 Transfer Day

Camp Transfer day

Day 5 will start normal like the other previous day. Around 07:00am guests will have their last game drive in Moremi Game Reserves while the Kala Safaris camp team will take the time to break down the camp and drive ahead of the guests to Savuti. Around 8: 00am guests will leave Moremi Game Reserve and drive towards Khwai. Guests will have a morning Mokoro/traditional Canoe ride in the Khwai river before the final transfer of the day start to Savuti. They will be plenty of game viewing stops on the 4 hours transfer to Savuti including stretch stops and picnic lunch along the way. Guests will arrive around 17:00 pm in Savuti. Guests will experience their first evening game drive in Savuti as the first welcome note of the predator dominated wildlife location. After sundowner’s guests will be driven to camp to freshen up before dinner.

Savuti is mainly a predator paradise with plenty of lion viewing, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and wild dogs. They are no optional activities in Savuti.

Day 6 -8 Savuti

Days in Savuti will be a feast for cats and dogs lovers as they will be in a land ruled by Lion prides. Savuti is of a much drier marsh vegetation terrain compared to the water logged Okavango Delta terrains of Moremi Game Reserve. Times agreed upon for waking up, breakfast, morning game drive, lunch and afternoon game drive in Moremi Game Reserve will continue in the exploration of Savuti.

Day 9 Transfer Day

Camp Transfer day

The 3rd camp transfer will resemble the camp first transfer events. Around 11:00 am after the first morning game drive and coffee stop, guests will be driven to Chobe National park to experience the Chobe river which is surrounded by 3 countries and its freely roaming wildlife.

Day 10-12 Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park daily events will resemble the same activities and times practiced in both Moremi Game Reserve and Savuti. Boat ride in the Chobe River for aquatic game viewing will be done on day 11.

If guests have opted for a day trip activity in Victoria falls day 12 can be used to do the optional activity or the normal safari game drive of the day will continue.

Day 13 Departure Chobe/Kasane

Departure

Depending on the time of departure flight from Kasane International Airport. Guests will wake up at normal time and do a short game drive before being dropped off at the airport or by the safari lodge.
