Guests will have their last morning game drive in the salt pans and head to Maun by tarred road to have a short stop in Maun and lunch. From Nxai Pan to Maun transfer will be between 2hrs drive to 2hrs 30min.
If Guests are travelling on any other months except the months of July, August, September. The water levels will be too low to use a speed boats and the transfer to the remote parts of the Okavango Delta will be by road. Approximately a 3 hours dirt bumpy road transfer with plenty of game viewing along the way for day 16. They will be no boat ride in the Okavango Delta remote parts when the water is too low.
If guests are travelling during the months July, August. September guests will get to experience the highlights of travelling in to the Okavango Delta remote islands of Chiefs island by boat. Guests will see at close range the paradise like activities of the beautiful water filled delta and the wild animals carelessly roaming the waters and the land. Day 16 will be a 5 hours upstream transfer from Maun in to Chiefs Island by boat with plenty of game viewing from the water.
Day 17 will be a full day in the breath taking Okavango Delta. Guests will rise to enjoy smooth mokoro ride in the Delta after breakfast followed by morning guided walking safari in the Okavango Delta Islands, to touch smell and be one with nature. The walk will be led by mokoro polers that reside in the remote Okavango Village of Xaxaba to give guests a tour of the traditional way of surviving and flourishing in the Okavango Delta.
Day 18 will see the guests continuing to enjoy morning Mokoro rides in the Okavango Delta and an afternoon of Village walk and tour to see up close the village of the mokoro polers.
