9 days of exploring the 4 mainly visited national parks of Botswana. The Okavango Delta water influenced Moremi Game Reserve. A modern day bushman’s settlement called Khwai ,The predator dominated wild lands of Savuti and the river between 3 countries of Chobe National Park. Guests will explore the parks through a mobile safari tented camping expedition. 2 nights per the four different locations in 9 days and 8 nights.
Day 1
Arrival
Guests will be picked up by Kala Safari guide from a safari lodge in Maun or Maun International Airport. Guests will be picked in a 4x4 open game viewer followed by safari game viewing safety briefing. A 3 hours drive or transfer to Moremi Game Reserve (South) will start on a 99 km dirt bumpy terrain. The drive will be slow and safe with plenty of game viewing stops along the way as wildlife is still plenty in route to the game reserve. The Usual time of guests pickup is normally 8:30 am. The transfer will include a bush coffee stretch stop and picnic lunch. The morning transfer cover the first game drive of the tour through the many game viewing stops that occur along the way. Guests will arrive in camp shortly after the picnic lunch to offload their luggage and to familiarize themselves with the camp during the days light and to have hot showers. Towards sunset guests will leave to enjoy the first Moremi Game Reserve sunset over sundowner toast. Around 18:15 pm guests will head back to camp to be treated with a three course bush dinner and close the day around the camp fire.

Every day guests will be woken up by their safari guide around 05:30am or 06:00am (depending on the agreed time) to have a 30 minutes morning refresh time. Followed by 30 minutes of breakfast before leaving for the first morning game drive of the day around 06:30am or 07:00am. Around 11:00/12:00 pm depending on the natural, uncontrolled game viewing sightings guests will be driven back to camp to relax, have lunch, take showers, download photos and to charge cameras before the evening game drive that will start around 15:00pm to 18:15pm.
Day 3 will start normal like the previous day. Around 07:00am guests will have their last morning game drive in Moremi Game Reserves (South side) while the Kala Safaris camp team will take the time to break down the camp and drive ahead of the guest to north of Moremi Game Reserve.
Around 11:00am guests will leave south of Moremi Game Reserve and drive within Moremi Game Reserve towards the North to do a Boat ride activity, to explore the aquatic wildlife. This will be the highlight of the day before heading to Khwai in the afternoon.
Day 4 will be a full day in Khwai exploring the north east of Moremi Game Reserve with the two game drives of the day both the morning game drive from 07:00 am until noon and the evening game drive.
Before the Sunset excursion a mokoro ride in the Khwai river will be enjoyed to experience the peace and cool breeze of the Khwai river waters.
Guests will wake up and have breakfast the normal agreed time and have the last morning game drive in Khwai North East of Moremi Game Reserve.
Around 11:00am after coffee and stretch stop guests will be driven to Savuti and will have picnic lunch along the way. The transfer will take around 4 hours with plenty game viewing stops. Guests will arrive around 17:00 pm in Savuti. Guests will experience their first evening game drive in Savuti as the first welcome note of the predator dominated wildlife location. After sundowners guests will be driven to camp to freshen up before dinner.
Savuti is mainly a predator paradise with plenty of lion viewing, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and wild dogs. They are no optional activities in Savuti.
Days in Savuti will be a feast for cats and dogs lovers as they will be in a land ruled by Lion prides. Savuti is of a much drier marsh vegetation terrain compared to the water logged terrains of Moremi Game Reserve. Times agreed upon for waking up, breakfast, morning game drive, lunch and afternoon game drive in Moremi Game Reserve will continue in the exploration of Savuti.
The 3rd camp transfer will resemble the camp last 2 transfer events. Around 11:00 am after the first morning game drive and coffee stop, guests will be driven to Chobe National Park to experience the Chobe river which is surrounded by 3 countries and its freely roaming wildlife. The day will be closed off with a sunset evening game drive on the banks of the Chobe River.
Chobe National Park daily events will resemble the same activities and times practiced in both Moremi Game Reserve and Savuti. A boat ride in the Chobe National Park River for aquatic game viewing will be one of the safari activities in the exploration of the wilderness park.
Depending on the time of departure flight from Kasane International Airport. Guests will wake up at normal time and do a short game drive before being dropped off at the airport or by the safari lodge.
Day 9 can also be used as an optional activity day to do a day trip or overnight trip in to Victoria falls Zimbabwe at an additional cost.
yes!! tourists have been camping in the wilderness of Botswana for over 40 years. Wild animal are territorial and respect boundaries they usually walk close to and around the camp site at locations at plain view but avoid human contact at all costs
