A short and explosive tour exploration of the rich in wildlife national park of Moremi Game Reserve. Exploring the Okavango Delta influenced flora and fauna of the delta flowing in to Moremi Game Reserve. The tour covers the exploration of the south of  Moremi Game Reserve  for two nights in tented camping and the north east side of the wildlife dominated reserve for another two nights in tented camping. With additional two safari activities to compliment the mobile safari.

Day 1 Arrival Maun
Day 1  Arrival Maun

Guests will be picked up by Kala Safaris, Safari guide from a safari lodge in Maun or Maun International Airport. Guests will be picked in a 4x4 open game viewer followed by a safari game viewing safety briefing. A 3 hours drive or transfer to Moremi Game Reserve (South) will start on a 99km dirt bumpy terrain. The drive will be slow and safe with plenty of game viewing stops along the way as wildlife is plenty on route to the game reserve. The Usual time of guests pickup is normally 8:30 am. The transfer will include a bush coffee stretch stop and picnic lunch. The morning transfer cover the first game drive of the tour through the many game viewing stops that occur along the way. Guests will arrive in camp shortly after the picnic lunch to offload their luggage and to familiarize themselves with the camp during the days light and to have hot showers. Towards sunset guests will leave to enjoy the first Moremi Game Reserve sunset over sundowner toast. Around 18:15 pm guests will head back to camp to be treated with a three course bush dinner and close the day around the camp fire.

Day 2 Moremi Game Reserve

Every day guests will be woken up by their safari guide around 05:30am or 06:00am (depending on the agreed time) to have a 30 minutes morning refresh time. Followed by 30 minutes of breakfast before leaving for the first morning game drive of the day around 06:30am or 07:00am. Around 11:00/12:00 pm depending on the natural, uncontrolled game viewing sightings, guests will be driven back to camp to relax, have lunch, take showers, download photos and to charge cameras before the evening game drive that will start around 15:00pm to 18:15pm.

Day 3 Transfer Day

Day 3 will start normally like the previous day. Around 07:00am guests will have their last morning game drive in Moremi Game Reserves (south side) while the Kala Safaris camp team will take that time to break down the camp and drive ahead of the guests to North of Moremi Game Reserve. Around 10:00 am guests will leave south of Moremi Game Reserve and drive within Moremi Game Reserve towards the North to experience a boat ride, for a much closer view of the aquatic wildlife before transferring to Khwai in the afternoon.

Day 4 Khwai

Day 4 will be a full day in Khwai exploring the north east of Moremi Game Reserve with the two game drives of the day both the morning game drive from 07:00 am until noon and the evening sunset game drive. Before the evening game drive guess will explore the aquatic wildlife of the Khwai river in a mokoro ride as the highlight of the day.

Day 5 Departure Maun

Depending on the time of departure flight from Maun International Airport. Guests will wake up the normal time and do a short game drive before being dropped off by the airport or by the safari lodge in Maun Guests have an option of doing more activties after the tour at an additional cost like an overnight mokoro tour in the Okavango Delta, Helicopter ride over the Okavango Delta and many more.

From May to September, during winter in Botswana. during the winter water is not all over in the bush so animals get to come out more in the open. making it possible to witness rare sightings.
