The wooden decking at Thorntree River Lodge floats on the river’s edge, giving the impression that the two worlds are one. Take to the river for breathtaking sunset excursions; on land, observe wildlife in the National Park. The lodge is ideally situated to watch the neighboring cascading splendor or to participate in one of the various activities on offer because it is so close to Victoria Falls.
You’ll then go to a private concession in the middle of Hwange National Park, affectionately known as “the land of the giants” because of its huge elephant herds. It goes without saying that your time in Somalisa will be jam-packed with wildlife interactions because the area is renowned for its up-close encounters with elephants, which have grown accustomed to drinking from the “elephant pool” in front of camp.
